S.S.s. live video feed, cruise ships, nautical flagpole, customised beach towels. 2014.
Commissioned for Unsettled Landscapes, SITE Santa Fe Biennial.
A live video feed was streamed to the gallery space in Santa Fe from the touristic port of Nassau, Bahamas showing the daily assembly of cruise ships. On a nautical flagpole outside the gallery this presence was marked by the raising and lowering of customized beach towels, each representing one of the 40 ships that visit the port.
